Wolfburn Single Cask #87 Bottling Note
A limited edition single cask single malt from the wonderful Wolfburn distillery! This particular expression was drawn from a single second-fill sherry hogshead (cask #87, if you were wondering) and has been bottled at a generous 57% ABV.
Tasting Note:
Nose: Dates and walnuts, with a good hint of earthy vanilla pod in the background.
Palate: Peppery and honeyed. Soft hints of peat develop, alongside rich red berry sweetness and sugary coffee.
Finish: Beeswax, more honey, sultana and cinnamon.
